It's true. Sometimes it is. But at least the problems generally have fixes beyond just waiting for a corporation to release a patch. -

@lily @CursedSilicon I'm good, thanks. At least the problems with my distro (Garuda) are typically interesting enough that I don't mind poking at them to see how exactly they broke. It's taught me a few things about how Linux actually works.
