i think it's... interesting... that the gourmand frog had his jamaican accent removed for cultural sensitivity reasons in sdv1.6 but CA didn't change anything in regards to the luau event or the totem pole item you could buy there

like there was a mod that changes the luau into a potluck and changed items accordingly, i can't find it now but that definitely existed
