okay this isn't that but i remembered reading if you had 75 zeni you could jump into the blood lake when falling into yomi and it fucking warps you to kyoto (the first/only? permanent continue point in the game)

It seems what he speaks may be directly referencing a line from the start of the Heart Sutra.This phrase seems to commonly translated along the lines of 'form is no different to emptiness', although it's a Buddhist text so it is not something I really know how much about.
